What if

There is no bad guy

There’s just you and me – us

And we’re equally responsible

For everything that’s gone wrong

If only

I could give up a bit of my dreams

So that those who had nothing

Could have even just a little

But my grasp seems impossibly tight

Perhaps

The most heroic thing I can do

Lies within what I can let go of

Maybe then we could be used

To save the world together.
