You’ve taught me

That even though I shouldn’t do things

In order to earn love

 

It’s okay

To receive love

While I do things

 

And while

I’ll keep getting those two

Hopelessly mixed for now

 

I’ll look forward to the day

When my understanding of that theory

Meets reality
